FINALBLOGHEADERRAINYDAYHere at Trotters HQ, we love nothing more than a bike ride or picnic in the sunshine. But when the weather doesn’t go your way, you need a back up plan. Here are a few fun ideas for when the outdoors is not so appealing…

Get creative!

We love these felt tip brushes as they’re great for drawing, colouring and painting. They’re a favourite in our office, and will keep children busy for hours.
Available in blue and pink.

Build a den!

All you need is a bed sheet, a table and some cushions. Get out your Christmas lights to add some extra sparkle, and let them use their duvets to make it extra cosy! Guaranteed to keep them occupied for the afternoon.

Ready, set… bake!

Cupcakes are a quick and easy solution to rainy-day boredom. With a bit of help from Mum, children will love stirring the mixture (and licking the bowl!) then decorating them once they’re out of the oven. For extra fun, add some food colouring to the batter.

When the rain dies down, head to Richmond Park to walk the dog and splash in the puddles!
