  1. Trotters’ Easter Eggstravaganza

Trotters are inviting all children to participate in our Easter Egg hunt, with sweet treats being provided by Peggy Porschen and refreshments by Pip Organic. Pop along for a day of fun that the whole family can enjoy including face painting and a drawing competition with a chance to win a Micro Scooter and goody bags!

  1. Horniman Easter Fair

In addition to their exciting exhibitions, the Horniman Museum & Gardens is hosting a range of events over the weekend from an Easter trail and face painting to storytelling and craft workshops. Don’t forget to pop by the Butterfly House before you leave to get up close and personal with hundreds of these beautiful insects and learn more about their fascinating life-cycle and behaviour.

  1. A Big Day Out with Peter Rabbit at Kew Gardens

Have fun this Easter by taking part in an exciting adventure at the legendary Kew Gardens, featuring Peter Rabbit and his friends. There will be games to learn more about the vegetables Peter finds (and takes) from Mr McGregor’s garden along with a trail based on this world-famous rabbit and other familiar Beatrix Potter characters.

Cadbury, the nation’s favourite is teaming up with the National Trust again to bring you the ultimate day out. With over 250 hunts to choose from across England, Wales and Northern Ireland you’re sure to find one to suit you and your family. Many of the venues will also be offering games and craft activities so you can make a full day of it!

The best bit: everyone will be rewarded for their efforts with a yummy Cadbury treat at the end of each completed hunt and everyone participating is in turn helping to fund vital conservation work.

Do something a little different this Easter and travel back in time to the deep past! This voyage of a lifetime will see you board a time machine and be transported back 67 million years to a time where you can see living dinosaurs with your very own eyes! This magical adventure is not something you’ll see or experience every day so why not make the most of it and sample so other local activities while you’re in the area such as the O2, The National Maritime Museum or The Cutty Sark to name a few.

Discover the story behind the creative partnership of A.A. Milne and E.H. Shepard in creating this much-loved classic. Brought to life through a series of sketches, letters, photographs, cartoons, ceramics and fashion this multi-sensory and playful exhibit explores the wonderful world of Winnie-the-Pooh.

  1. Easter Egg Hunt at Jubilee Market Covent Garden

Taking place over Good Friday and Easter Sunday, children can have fun hunting for eggs hidden amongst the stalls at Jubilee Market, Covent Garden. Successful hunters are then encouraged to track down the Easter Bunny in exchange for a chocolate surprise! Parents can also enjoy some fine shopping at the market while their little one’s enjoy the hunt.

The best bit: On each day there is one golden egg to be found and exchanged for an exciting big prize!
