THE BARBICAN CHRISTMAS MARKET
The Barbican hosts 10 days of seasonal shopping, with 35 independent designers, makers and artisans setting up shop in the foyers. With vintage and designer clothes, arts and crafts, jewellery, books and toys all available, it is a great option for cultural Christmas shopping. Mulled wine and mince pies are, of course, available for purchase.

PADDINGTON BEAR
One for the budding young artists! To complement the first Paddington movie that launched on 28 November, The House of Illustration’s exhibition explores how different illustrators and animators have interpreted Michael Bond’s much loved-bear. The exhibition beings together a selection of artwork from over 50 years of Paddington, from original drawings by Peggy Fortnum, Fred Banbery, David McKee and R.W. Alley, to clips from Ivor Wood’s 1970s stop motion Paddington TV show and material from the new Paddington movie.

BOROUGH MARKET
This one is for all you foodies out there! This food market offers a delicious and diverse range of seasonal produce, with meat, veg, dairy and other delicacies that will make your Christmas one to remember this year.

CHRISTMAS MARKET AT THE TATE MODERN
This German style Christmas market offers handmade wooden toys, unique jewellery, intricate decorations and plenty more! One can tuck into bratwurst, crêpes, roasted nuts or a warming cup of glühwein whilst visiting the seventy pretty wooden chalets.
