We had a spooktacular response to our Halloween colouring competition – thanks to everybody who took part!
First prize goes to Lucas Challis, aged 7, who not only coloured in Dunwoody, but gave us a fun fact too. He says, “First the yo-yo was invented in the Philippines centuries ago, possibly used as a weapon, it was then used as a children’s toy since 1928”. Thanks, Lucas, I bet we’ll be seeing you on QI someday soon …
Lucas wins a Jellycat Owl, and a big fat book of spooky stickers – definitely a treat, rather than a trick! Runners up are Ridley (1 1/2) and his horrifying handprints, and Julie (6 1/5) who designed a very jazzy costume for the Very Important Pig.
