Next week is National Storytelling Week and there are plenty of ways to celebrate the wonderful tradition of storytelling with your family. Why not share your favourite childhood stories with your children? Or perhaps make an activity of writing your very own!

Under 5’s storytime at the Musuem of London Docklands

On Thursday 2nd February the Museum of London will be holding a story telling session for toddlers. The stories involve amusing puppets, interesting museum objects and great music. Younger sibling are very welcome to join!


National Storytelling week at Westminster Abbey

With this event you can choose to hear three fascinating stories about historical figures who are buried at the Abbey. This exciting event is for school age children and will be held on 28th, 30th Jan and 1st, 4th Feb. Tickets are £5 and this includes a mini tour.

Magic Carpet Storytelling at the National Gallery

Enjoy a variety of stories inspired by paintings at the National Gallery! You and your family can fly on a magic carpet which lands in front of a different painting every Sunday. This event is free and suitable for children from 2 to 5 years.
